Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation:
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions. Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Network Optimization:
Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying areas for improvement. Implement optimizations to enhance network efficiency and responsiveness.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide advanced troubleshooting support for network issues, collaborating with other teams as needed. Implement solutions to address network challenges and minimize downtime.
- Security Implementation:
Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard against cyber threats. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging security threats.
- Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures. Train and mentor junior team members on best practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
