This Privacy Policy describes how ISP Industries LLC (d/b/a isp.net) ("we," "us," or "our") collects, protects, and handles your information. This policy applies to all services provided by isp.net, including our core internet services (HomeNet, BizNet, MultiNet, PremiumNet, ColoNet) and our integrated network solutions (VoiceNet, VisionNet, AccessNet, AirNet).

 


1. Our Core Privacy Commitments

  • No Sale of Data: isp.net does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or browsing history to third parties. We have never sold customer data and have no plans to do so.
  • No Deep Packet Inspection (DPI): We do not use DPI to track, log, or sell your browsing history, the applications you use, or the content of your internet traffic.
  • Traffic Isolation: If your premises acts as a "Relay Node" for the isp.net network, your personal internet traffic is logically isolated. No other customer can view or access your data.

 


2. Nevada Privacy Rights (NRS 603A)

As a Nevada-based company, isp.net prioritizes the privacy of Nevada residents.

  • Automatic Opt-Out: We have automatically opted all customers out of the "sale" of their data by default.
  • Requests: Nevada residents may verify their status or submit inquiries to privacy@isp.net. We respond to verified requests within 60 days.

Information Automatically Collected

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate our websites and Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics, reporting, and future optimization purposes.

 


4. Service-Specific Privacy Practices

VoiceNet & CPNI

In providing VoIP services, we maintain Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI), including call logs and durations.

  • Usage Monitoring: We monitor monthly voice usage to ensure network integrity and compliance with our Fair Use Policy. Usage exceeding two (2) 911 calls per line per month, or calls placed from unregistered addresses, will result in administrative fees (including a $20.00 Excessive 911 Fee) as outlined in our Terms of Service.
  • Access Control: Access to CPNI and usage logs is strictly limited to our Engineering Department.
     

VisionNet & AccessNet

  • Local Storage: Video recordings and door access records are stored locally on a physical NVR at the Customer's property. isp.net does not host this data.
  • Logged Maintenance: Any remote technical support access by our Engineering team is logged internally within the NVR system, including the timestamp and content viewed.

 


5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies to California residents.

  • 12-Month Disclosure: In the preceding 12 months, isp.net has not sold or shared any personal information with third parties for a business or commercial purpose.
  • Rights: You have the right to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your data, the right to know/access your data, and the right to request deletion or correction, subject to legal and billing exceptions.

 


6. How We Process and Share Your Information

Processing Your Information

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts.
  • To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user.
  • To send administrative information to you about products, services, and changes to our terms and policies.
  • To fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the Services.
  • To request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Services.
  • To protect our Services as part of our efforts to keep our Services safe and secure, including fraud monitoring and prevention.
  • To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience.
  • To identify usage trends to better understand how our Services are being used so we can improve them.
  • To comply with our legal obligations, respond to legal requests, and exercise, establish, or defend our legal rights.

Internal Research & Technological Development

We may process your information for our own internal business purposes, such as undertaking research for technological development and demonstration. This activity is performed to improve our network and services and does not constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.

Testimonials

We post testimonials on our Services that may contain personal information. If you post a review of our services publicly online, we may display that review on our website without requesting additional consent.

Business Transfers

We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

Legal Obligations & Subpoenas

We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal processes, such as in response to a subpoena or a warrant (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).

 


7. General Disclosures & Technologies

  • Cookies & Tracking: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze site traffic, identify usage trends on www.isp.net, and maintain secure authenticated sessions on portal.isp.net.
  • Google Maps API: By using our service lookup tool on www.isp.net, our Coverage Map, or installation mapping tools, you acknowledge that you are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy regarding location data.
  • Promotional Emails: We reserve the right to email promotional offers in the future. You will always be provided a clear "Unsubscribe" link.
  • Minors: We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 years of age.

 


8. Data Security & Retention

  • Data Security: We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. Our security protocols are designed to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of your data against unauthorized access or disclosure.
  • Physical Access Logs: For customers hosting Relay Node hardware, isp.net may maintain logs of physical access to the premises' exterior or rooftop by our technicians for security and insurance purposes.
  • Data Retention: Account records, including billing data, transaction logs, support tickets, and service jobs, are retained indefinitely for historical, accounting, and legal tracking purposes. Upon cancellation of service, your account will be marked as "inactive" rather than deleted. Technical network diagnostic logs are purged on a regular rolling basis.

 


9. Verification of Requests

To protect your privacy, we must verify your identity before fulfilling any request to access or correct your data.

  • Verification: We match the info provided in your request against our internal records. Requests submitted through an authenticated portal.isp.net account are considered pre-verified.
  • Authorized Agents: Agents must provide written proof of their authority to act on your behalf.

 


10. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy frequently on our website to stay informed of how we protect your information.

 


11. Conflict of Terms

In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and a signed Master Service Agreement (MSA) or specialized Service Order, the terms of the MSA or Service Order shall take precedence regarding that specific conflict.
